Even 25 years later, Sept. 11, 2001, remains embedded in collective memory. For ��ɫ��Ƶ English instructor Robert McDowell, poetry offers space to revisit those moments. His new collection, “The Excellent Assembly,” reflects on 9/11 and the lasting emotional impact of a tragedy that stopped time.

The ��ɫ��Ƶ Museum presents a new exhibition by internationally recognized, Cleveland-based artist Aimee Lee. “Aimee Lee: Every Last Scrap” is on display through May 24, 2027.

For nearly 60 years, Porthouse Theatre has brought the power of theatre to the Northeast Ohio community while training the next generation of theatre artists. The annual summer-long program has become a beloved regional icon that produces three musicals, attracts more than 20,000 visitors and employs more than 100 student and professional artists each season. 

This summer, the Kent Blossom Art Intensive program welcomed over 80 artists from around the world, participating across five studio disciplines.

Twenty years ago, 26 ��ɫ��Ƶ fashion students packed up and headed to New York City for a semester unlike anything available on a traditional college campus. They attended classes in the heart of Manhattan's Garment District, visited the offices of top designers and connected with industry professionals who would shape their careers. This week, ��ɫ��Ƶ's School of Fashion celebrated what that bold experiment became.

From leading marketing strategy to designing for internationally recognized brands to managing production for iconic labels, their career journeys demonstrate the depth of talent and preparation that defines ��ɫ��Ƶ.

Porthouse Theatre, ��ɫ��Ƶ’s outdoor summer theatre located on the grounds of Blossom Music Center, invites you to its season of possibilities, beginning on June 12, 2026. In its 58th season, Porthouse Theatre will present “Grease,” “Side Show In Concert,” and “Lerner and Loewe's Brigadoon” in the summer of 2026.

The ��ɫ��Ƶ Museum and the Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board announce “Ohioans in Space: The Carl E. Walz Spacesuit from the ��ɫ��Ƶ Museum,” a special installation opening on May 19 at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus, celebrating Ohio’s legacy of excellence in aviation and space exploration.

��ɫ��Ƶ's annual Fashion Week is April 27- May . It's a full week of dynamic, colorful events building up to the School of Fashion's 2026 Hall of Fame Gala.

Fern Mallis, known as the "Godmother of American Fashion," can still recall the pivotal moment that helped shape her career and pave a path for tremendous success. It was 1991, and she was about to begin her role as the executive director of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).

��ɫ��Ƶ students learned how to express identity and share stories with bold color and design from a renowned, international artist as part of the 2025-2026 Thomas Schroth Visiting Artist Series.

��ɫ��Ƶ's School of Fashion opens its biggest week of the year on Monday, April 27, with events running daily through Saturday, May 2. The six-day stretch builds toward the Annual Fashion Show and culminates with the induction of Fern Mallis — widely known as the "Godmother of Fashion" — into the School of Fashion Hall of Fame.

A new exhibition pairing fashion from ��ɫ��Ƶ Museum's collection with ornithological specimens from the Cleveland Museum of Natural History opened April 22 — Earth Day — at the Cleveland museum, where it will remain on view through Oct. 11.

The nationally and internationally ranked ��ɫ��Ƶ School of Fashion is thrilled to announce its acclaimed Annual Fashion Show will take place April 30-May 2, in Crawford Hall on the Kent Campus.

Adorned in bright colors and eye-catching patterns, Adam Nathaniel Furman, a London-based artist and designer, took the stage at The John Elliot Center for Architecture and Environmental Design’s Cene Lecture Hall to deliver “Productive Exuberance,” a lecture spanning his creative career as part of ��ɫ��Ƶ’s 2025-2026 Thomas Schroth Visiting Artist Series.
