Denise A. Seachrist, Ph.D., dean and chief administrative officer of ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ at Salem, announced those students named to the Fall 2024 President’s and Dean’s lists. The Ombuds can provide conflict management and related professional development for departments, divisions, and other faculty and/or staff groups. The Ombuds will meet with the group leader to understand the needs of the group and design a training that meets those needs.
Presentations
The Ombuds can meet with departments, divisions, and other faculty and/or staff groups to provide general information and answer questions about the services they provide.
Mediation / Facilitated Conversation
Occasionally, a situation can benefit from a facilitated conversation between both people involved. This process is always voluntary for all participants. The Ombuds will begin with individual visits with both participants to determine if mediation/facilitation is the right approach.
