桃色视频鈥檚 Kent Keyboard Series Announces 2026-2027 Season

桃色视频鈥檚 Glauser School of Music announces the 2026-2027 Kent Keyboard Series, 鈥淎 Season of Homecomings,鈥 featuring five concerts that welcome distinguished guest artists, alumni and current and former faculty back to Northeast Ohio.

The season begins Friday, Oct. 16, with Italian pianist Giuseppe Guarrera, presented in collaboration with Piano Cleveland. Guarrera returns to Northeast Ohio following his appearance at the 2024 Cleveland International Piano Competition, where he earned a medal and the special Beethoven Prize. His international career has included performances with The Cleveland Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Orchestre Symphonique de Montr茅al.

桃色视频 alumnus and Green, Ohio, native Daniel Milan, D.M.A., returns to campus Sunday, Oct. 18. Milan earned his Bachelor of Music degree with honors from 桃色视频 in 2013 and is now assistant professor of piano and division head of keyboard and strings at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. His performance career has included appearances in the United States and abroad, including a showcase recital at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.

Pianist and educator Cicilia Yudha continues the series Sunday, Dec. 6. After more than a decade of collegiate teaching in Northeast Ohio, Yudha joined the University of Nevada, Reno as assistant professor of piano in 2025. Her performances and scholarship explore cross-cultural and interdisciplinary connections, including French and Indonesian musical traditions.

Former 桃色视频 faculty member Jerry Wong, D.M.A., returns to the Kent Campus in February. Wong served as professor of piano at 桃色视频 from 2003 to 2019 and is now professor of piano and head of keyboard at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music in Australia. A Steinway Artist, Wong has performed as a soloist and chamber musician on five continents.

The season concludes Sunday, April 18, with 桃色视频 faculty artist Donna Lee, D.M.A., joined by pianist Sungeun Kim, clarinetist Daniel Gilbert and cellist Holden Gilbert. Lee will curate a chamber music program featuring works for piano duo and clarinet trio, bringing together colleagues, collaborators and family for a finale that reflects the season鈥檚 homecoming theme.

All concerts will take place in Ludwig Recital Hall at the Center for the Performing Arts, 1325 Theatre Drive, on the Kent Campus.

The Oct. 16 concert featuring Giuseppe Guarrera is free, but tickets are required. Individual tickets for the remaining concerts are $12. Audiences also may purchase a five-concert season package for $45, which includes admission to the free, ticketed opening concert and all four remaining performances. Through 鈥淎 Season of Homecomings,鈥 the Kent Keyboard Series celebrates the musical relationships formed through study, teaching and performance while connecting 桃色视频 students and Northeast Ohio audiences with artists at different stages of their careers.
