Larry and Sandy Disbro are lifelong members of ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ Alumni Association’s Lake County Alumni Chapter and serve as board members as well as officers for the chapter (president, vice president, treasurer and historian). Both Larry and Sandy are also life members of the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ Alumni Association and have actively supported ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ initiatives for more than 40 years.
Larry is a member of the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ Golden Flashes Club and Honorary Varsity K. He has served on the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ Intercollegiate Athletic council since 2009. And served on the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ National Alumni Board of Directors from 1995 through 2002 and served as secretary for a year. Sandy has volunteered with the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ Admission’s Office, served as Homecoming parade judge for more than 10 years and also has co-chaired several committees for the Lake County Alumni Chapter.
As a student at ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ, Larry was selected for Gamma Theta Upsilon, International Honorary Geographical Society, co-founded the Ohio Kappa Chapter, Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and played on the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ baseball team. Sandy was also very active during her time at ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ. She was part of the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ Dance Team, Flasherettes and tennis team.
Larry and Sandy are avid ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ sports fans and longtime season ticket holders. Their daughter, Kellee Disbro, ’06 is also a ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ graduate and has been involved with the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ Alumni Association's Southern California Chapter.
